Before visiting Africa, the image I had in my mind was that of Kenya. I just didn’t know it. Not all of Africa sports those perfect red earth roads, beautiful locals in their bright traditional dress or the spotted, striped and maned creatures on safari. Kenya was the place that made me feel the most in the Africa I had dreamed of since watching Lion King as a child. I hope this photo essay helps you turn your African dreams into reality.
- Entering Kenya from Uganda
- The groves on the road from so many trucks and high temperatures
- Beautiful green countryside up thin the hills.
- Another equator crossing for us.
- Nairobi
- Security is high in Nairobi
- A classic shot of Kenya
- Ammnon and Ben our navigators
- Out in the middle of nowhere
- village life and a unique style of huts.
- Passing through small villages
- The troubles with bringing your own truck.
- When it rains it rains.
- The Truck our mode of transport through most of africa
- Kenya has beautiful beaches
- Random camels really in the middle of nowhere
- Finally some traffic
- Very pretty huts in this village
- Mother and child awe so cute
