It’s completely irrelevant because only people who know “Bill Nye will get this, but every time I hear Brunei I hear, “Brunei The Science Guy.”
This tiny, little Asian country, on the island of Borneo and completely surrounded by the Malaysian State of Sarawak. Brunei is one I feel few take the time to visit when on their trips to South East Asia. Ammon, Mom and Dad stay a few days during their six month backpacking trip through Asia. Judging by the photos, I would definitely want to take the time to stop over and see this pretty little country.
- Streets of Bandar Seri Begawan
- Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque is one of the most stunning in Asia
- Hassanal Bolkiah, is the 29th and current Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei. He is also the first and incumbent Prime Minister of Brunei
- Bandar Seri Begawan
- Natural gas fields have given Brunei abundant wealth
- Transportation is by water taxi in Kampong Ayer
- Market day in Kampong Ayer
- Maggie choosing something new
- Kampong Ayer is the worlds largest water city,
- Jackfruit fresh in the market
- The most interesting variety of fruits and vegetables that we have seen.
- A little thief in the market.
