Another country that I have yet to visit. Ammon and Bre did go together though. This is what Ammon says:

Bre and I were lucky in our visit to Kosovo in the fall of 2006. At the time it’s status was still uncertain as it hadn’t yet declared independence but had finally acheived peace.

My lasting impression of the capital was of UN vehicles and peacekeepers. We spent most of our time in a small village couchsurfing with a local family. Their kindness and hospitality was much more than we expected as was their optimism for the future.

If I went back i’d definitely go in the autumn again as the landscape was beautiful with all it’s color.
