As the founder of a Twitter travel chat called “The Road Less Travelled” and having been to so many countries and cities in the world that most wouldn’t even recognize, it’s always hard for me to believe when a typically “overhyped” country ACTUALLY lives up to all the raving reviews. Well, Italy is probably #1 for famous places that exceed all expectations. I feel so privileged to have been able to road trip to Italy twice since living in Europe. Having the flexibility and freedom of a car in Italy is honestly the BEST way to do it!! We went from city to city discovering new places and making sure to stop at all the best spots and finding some of the many World Heritage Sites too. Florence, Rome, Venice, Pompeii, Pisa…..there really are no words to express how I feel about Italy. Check out this photo essay to whet your appetite thn book a ticket!
