Germany holds one of my earliest memories of having a desire to travel. Before I’d ever stepped foot abroad I was absolutely fascinated when I first heard about this far-off land in Europe where they had highways with NO SPEED LIMITS!!!! It was the first time I can remember having a spark of excitement about another world.
When I finally did make it to Germany, it was a very special experience and now I’ve been so many times I can’t even count! Our most recent trip to Germany was on our 10-Country 10-Capital City road trip this summer. We stopped in Berlin for the first time and I fell in love with the dinosaur museum! I know that makes me sound like a geek, haha, but it was wonderful.
A couple months earlier I celebrated my 26th birthday by driving through 5 countries in one day. We stopped just outside of Bonn at the fairytale-like Schloss Drachenburg Castle! Other highlights of Germany are pretzels, Black Forest and visiting our good friend Hein in Freiburg!

Stay tuned for more #FridayFotos. Next week is GHANA.
