Egypt is a land of history and magic. We spent a whopping five months living there and it was definitely an unforgettable period of my life with extreme highs and lows. It is surreal to walk through history in the steps of ancient pharaohs and slaves along the Nile River from Cairo to Luxor to Aswan. I couldn’t possibly capture the experience of Egypt in just a few words, so I hope this photo essay can transport you through time!

Wonderful, I spent a month working in Cairo but was able to spend a lot of time sightseeing–lovely but soooo crowded
Hi there Savannah,
What a fantastic overview of this amazing country, it’s exactly why I love it just as much and return to Egypt so often. Due to bad press, Egypt’s tourism is suffering so much, despite all there is to see and do, and more important, all that is being done to keep the visitors safe. Let’s hope things change for the better, the hospitable people of this fabulous country deserve it! Thanks for sharing, much appreciated !
Hi savannah, I’m so glad that you’ve shared this photos from Egypt. I myself adore its historical sculpture from a thousand years ago. Not all the places are beautiful but still I do hope this place in person. Hoping for more your travel. Good luck
