In case anyone missed the latest buzz on my social media, Kees and I are getting MARRIED!!!
After an AMAZING 8.5 years together, Kees (pronounced CASE) and I are finally tying the knot!
I’m so thankful that our lives crossed paths back in 2008 in Ghana while we were both circumnavigating Africa.
Kees (85 countries ) and I (108 countries) are an adventurous couple who have travelled to 42 countries together! Despite being from different cultural backgrounds and CONTINENTS, having a 21 year age gap and a language barrier, I feel we’ve proven that love can make the impossible possible.
I told you there was a lot happening in my personal life in my recent “Book Announcement”post!
I feel so blessed to have so many warm congratulations from friends, family and fans. Thank you everyone for your warm wishes and making this time of my life even more special and memorable! I even have a strong feeling a few of my girl friends are busy planning an engagement/bachelorette party for me this weekend. How BLESSED am I?!
Thank you so much for sharing this journey with me. I can’t WAIT.
Obviously, it would seem natural for two world travellers like us to celebrate our love somewhere exotic. I’m curious, if you could send us ANYwhere in the world for our wedding, where would it be?! Let me know in the comments below!
Please check my 7 year Anniversary in Holland where I share an annual photo collection of us over the years.
Kees is my hero and my better half! Every day is a laugh and a surprise with him and I can’t wait to spend eternity having many more adventures and living life to the fullest with this man!!! We have the rest of the world to discover together!
Countries Visited Together: (In no particular order)

Yay!! Thank you so much! Me too! 🙂
Not on social media much, so this is great news!!
It is spring in Tasmania.. Australia and of course New Zealand, and other exotic places in that general area.
Aussies and Kiwis are so welcoming and love to celebrate, too.
OH then I’m double glad I posted here as well 🙂 Great suggestions and I’ve never been to that side of the world! 🙂

Now those are awesome news gorgeous!
A couple that travels together, stays together…or so say my parents who’ve been married 45 years.
I am super happy for you and Kees (tell him he won the lottery!)
Don’t forget to invite me to your wedding.
May you two have a long, happy and adventurous life together 🙂
*Hugs*
