BOOK ANNOUNCEMENT

I’ve been distant and dishonest.
I realized it last week when I received a message from one of my biggest and youngest fans, Nicole Martel. She discovered my book series when she met me at one of my book signings in Vancouver, Canada. You may remember her from my Canada posts earlier this year when we “kidnapped” her for a day. On a school night I might add!!
Nicole and MeI know she’s been doing her best to give me space and not pressure me, but when she wrote me asking if the third book was still coming out next month I felt terrible! Then, followed by her email was another dedicated fan, Holly (also mentioned in the linked Canada post) asking the same thing.
When I write my books I put every bit of passion and soul into them in order to really bring you along on the journey with the family. The first two completely drained me and I’ve been going through a bit of a low period lately.
Unfortunately, I am announcing some bad news. The third volume in the Sihpromatum series “Rusty Tracks and Booby Traps” will NOT be released next month. BUT having said that, I still DO have every intention of writing it and hope to release it sometime in 2017! I really hate to admit defeat like this, but it’s the best for me and for the book.
There’s just been a LOT happening in my current personal life and I’ve had a hard time focusing on bringing you all the juicy gossip and travels of my 15-year-old self. If you think there was a lot back then, just WAIT until you hear the stuff I’ve been dealing with in my twenties. Half the time I don’t know if I’m going left or right and life is one big roller coaster. I guess being a Gemini doesn’t help keep things in balance!
Sihptromatum Series
When I promised to release the next book in October 2016 I forgot to factor in new projects that I didn’t have when I wrote the first two. Running #TRLT one of the largest Twitter chats in the world, maintaining an appearance on social media (yes, so you guys don’t forget about me!), managing four AIRBNB apartments, making time for travels and of course keeping my man happy. Relationships are a full time job!
HAVING SAID THIS, I will be announcing something more positive in the near future, so stay tuned!! And in the meantime, YOU GUYS need to keep spreading the word about the Sihpromatum series!
And maybe I should add, Also, in case some of you missed it, “I Grew My Boobs in China” is available in Chinese on Amazon.cn and currently has interested from Dutch, French and Portuguese translators! If you or someone you know can read Portuguese please write me at sihpromatum@gmail.com to request to a sample.

Savannah having already done so much in your young life, including giving us two delightful informative books I believe that you should feel no pressure at all in this regard…relax, travel, live. You and your writing will just get better in time. I can’t help thinking that the creative process should not be rushed and that a third book could be even five years out or more or even not at all. Your blog and photos work just fine,,,,,,love….jtg.
