Being an avid traveller, living in The Netherlands is a land of opportunity and the perfect base for road trips. In the 7+ years that I’ve been living here, we (“we” includes various family members) have done road trips to Spain, Italy, Norway, France, Portugal , Austria, and a One-Day, Five-Country Road Trip last month to The Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg, France and Belgium. Our recent road trip to 10 countries and 10 capital cities, through Scandinavia and The Baltic States, was one we’d had our hearts set on for years.
Mom and I were extremely excited to see this part of Europe as neither of us had been to The Baltic States and both visited five new countries on this trip. I have now seen #108 countries (just three left in Europe!) and Mom has been to a whopping #114.
Over the next weeks I will be sharing this trip with you in further detail, so you can follow more closely in our footsteps. This is a quick photo essay of our trip which may inspire you to do a similar road trip in the future.

Very cool! The Baltics have been on my bucket list for ages, too. Which three countries do you have left in Europe?
You won’t be disappointed!!! All three Baltic States are so quaint and beautiful. Iceland, Kosovo and Cyprus are the last three!! And just as a side note, I still have yet to hop over and visit LONDON! Thanks for your comment 🙂

this is so cool. Tallin is definitely on my list and I love the fact that you went to all the Baltic states! Wonder how much was the cost of Gas/Petrol for all of this?
