After many long months conquering the challenging west side of the African continent, the landlocked country of Botswana in southern Africa was a HUGE breath of fresh air.
I’d never thought much about Botswana before visiting the country because you always relate Africa with Kenya, South Africa or Tanzania. Despite it’s less popular name, Botswana blew us all away in the short week and a half that we were there. If you are looking for a Big 5 safari with a bit more adventure, make sure you make time for Botswana on your next African holiday. I would not hesitate to return because I know there’s so much more on offer than I experienced the first time round. Chobe National Park and Okavango Delta are highlights that can’t be missed!
Camping just outside of Chobe NP and sleeping on the roof of our truck while having hyenas circle us in the pitch black of night was an experience I will never forget!
Stay tuned for more #FridayFotos. Next week is Bulgaria
