I thought it was SOOO sweet of one of my younger readers, who is now the age I was when I left on the trip, to send me this photo using my book! She came with her mom and grandma to one of my book signings in Vancouver and has been loving the book series. Below is the review she left for “I Grew My Boobs in China”. She’s halfway through “Backpacks and Bra Straps” and is nagging me every day for #3. She may not realize, but she’s a great example of what keeps me motivated.
“Wow!!!!!! This book is amazing!!! Lately (before reading this book) I was stuck and couldn’t find any really good books… This is by far my favourite book of all time! Awesome story. Really cool to think about the fact that this isn’t fiction, this is really what happened!! I love that! Savannah is so nice, meeting her and staying in touch is great! Being able to read a book and talk to the author is incredible! It’s also great to be able to look at pictures (sihpromatum.wordpress.com)! One of the many things I loved about this book is the fact that it’s a young teens view on the world and different cultures. Me being around the same age Savannah was during the trip makes her thoughts very relatable. Anyways I could talk about this book for hours.
